Summary

At OneHope we strive to provide the transformational Word of God to children and youth around the world. The Advancement Strategist  contributes to further our mission through leading  cross-functional and inter-organizational workgroups including internal and external resources to develop and shepherd the visual and content design of captivating fundraising materials and expenses that communicate OneHope’s mission to support the Partner Engagement team and invite partners and prospective partners to a deeper relationship and response.

The Advancement Strategist is an energetic galvanizer who is highly collaborative and strives to ideate, design and implement plans for the pursuit of various Advancement goals as directed by leadership.     

Key Responsibilities

  In collaboration with the Partner Engagement team, works towards developing print, digital, video, and graphical communications that support our effort to  engage partners and prospective partners  in a meaningful, actionable way with OneHope’s mission, vision and key programs.

  Facilitate the Advancement team in the Discovery (ideation and conceptualization) of Partner Engagement strategies.

  Participate in and coordinate with Event and Campaign calendar planning through following the Ideation, Design, Deploy, and Documentation stages (Outcome Based)

  Initiate and care for OneHope partners through Culture of Engagement assignments, specifically Prayer Calling, or as assigned by leadership. Attend required training, report as needed in an appropriate manner, and fulfill all COE duties in a timely manner.

  Under the direction of Advancement Leadership, develop and implement strategies and activities to encourage COE participation throughout the OneHope family.

  Collaborate with other team members to design and implement strategies for the pursuit of various Advancement goals as directed by leadership.  The objectives and outcomes of Advancement are not separate from every team member's personal objective, but are owned by each person on the team. 

Other Skills and Abilities

  Previous experience in content and strategy development..

  Highly motivated, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  A galvanizing leader who can excite and rally the team around objectives 

  Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

  Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Work Environment

  Monday – Friday during business hours (9 AM-5 PM)

  Our work is international and may require some flexibility to accommodate teams in different time zones across the globe.

  Travel may be necessary, both domestic and abroad.
