Position Title: Front Desk Associate
Part Tme Shift
We operate as a 7 day work week. Holiday's are required. Must be able to work weekends.Flexibility to work other shifts is a plus.
Job Description:
Responsible for providing quality guest service as it pertains to service of tenant needs.
Front desk operations to include: dealing with customer service issues and solutions, concierge services, and front desk liaison between guests, partners and tenants and The Forum management with the ability to handle all tasks in a gracious and professional manner. Accuracy with daily accounting procedures is a must.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever
time of day.
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service as it relates to general services. Calls should
be answered promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information.
• Complete all items as listed on shift checklists.
• End of shift reports
• Maintain a daily ledger of events to be provided in EOS.
• Take, record and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.
• Communicate pertinent information to designated departments/personnel.
• Provide Concierge service - knowledge of local restaurants, special events, attractions, and guest amenities.
• Keep the front desk as well as lobby areas clean and well organized.
• Assist with reservations calls in a professional manner.
• Legibly document maintenance needs and submit to the Manager.
Qualifications:
• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
• Basic knowledge and skill with using office equipment and software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, internet,
copy, fax, etc.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through,
courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English (speak, read, write) with guests, co-workers, and management to their understanding. Secondary language of Spanish is helpful but not a requirement
• Ability to accurately compute and manipulate mathematical calculations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger.
• Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 75 lbs.; and lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages, boxes, and luggage.

Night hours required.
Responsible for representing the ministry with a positive and professional attitude.
Responsible for taking care of guest requests at the front desk/reception.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Previous front office or hotel experience preferred.
Ability to work with computers.
Ability to perform accurate functions using a calculator.
Ability to communicate, verbally, and in writing, effectively with guests and co-workers; respond to guest requests.
The ability to understand the tasks performed by a telephone operator, a reservation agent, a concierge, and a housekeeper.
Ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
Maintains professionalism at all times, demonstrating courtesy and respect to guests and co-workers.
Ability to multi-task and handle stress in busy seasons.
