Job Title:  Bible Media Group (BMG) Communication Project Specialist

Job Summary

The Communications Project Specialist is a full-time, locally based role responsible for coordinating communications initiatives, providing administrative and project coordination, and supporting ministry partners across Bible Media Group. This position plays a critical role in managing project workflows and maintaining organizational systems that ensure collaboration, accuracy, and efficient progress across all BMG departments.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with excellent communication skills, experience managing projects and databases, and the ability to support multiple initiatives within a global, ministry-focused environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:

Social Media, Communications & Production Support
  • Support film, media, and content production projects, including coordination of workflows, assets, and deliverables; familiarity with production processes is preferred.
  • Support projects connected to global ministry initiatives, ensuring cultural sensitivity and alignment with mission and values
  • Assist in social media content workflows, as needed by the Director.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather assets and ensure the timely delivery of content.
  • Serve as a communications liaison for ministry partners by coordinating requests, follow-up, and project updates.
  • Draft, proofread, and distribute partner-facing communications, presentations, reports, and project documentation.
  • Support partner onboarding by organizing documentation, timelines, and communication materials.
  • Maintain communication calendars, content schedules, and project timelines to ensure deliverables remain on track.
  • Monitor basic engagement metrics to inform content improvements.
  • Capture and support the distribution of stories, events, and ministry highlights across platforms.
  • Ensure all communications reflect brand consistency, cultural sensitivity, and mission alignment.



Project & Administrative Support
  • Support workflows, timelines, and action items across multiple projects.
  • Understand Bible Media Group and OneHope, its history and culture; governance structure, staff, and Board; programs and projects; and other constituencies
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and project support to Bible Media Group leadership and teams
  • Support document and data preparation, tracking, organization, and compliance in collaboration with leadership and external partners
  • Help ensure internal processes align with organizational policies and best practices

Partner & Relationship Management
 
  • Serve as an administrative point of contact for ministry partners and external organizations.
  • Coordinate partner communications, meetings, and follow-up while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate partner records, communication history, and project information within CRM and database systems.
  • Prepare, route, track, and organize contracts, agreements, MOUs, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate project deliverables between Communications, Studio, Publishing, and external partners.
  • Ensure partner documentation, approvals, and records remain organized and current.
Database, Systems & Analytics
  • Maintain and manage CRM platforms, partner databases, contract tracking systems, and internal project management tools to ensure accurate records and efficient collaboration.
  • Support reporting, basic analytics, and data insights to help leadership make informed decisions
  • Assist with process optimization related to information flow, documentation, and record keeping
  • Maintain reporting dashboards and communication tracking for leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and information sharing across departments.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative or project support experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional knowledge
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, speed, and efficiency
  • Experience supporting contracts, documentation, or legal/administrative processes
  • Familiarity with HR operations or people strategy support
  • Experience maintaining databases, analytics or reporting experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of marketing, film, media, and/or production (including video editing skills) and environments preferred
  • Understanding of or experience with global ministry or nonprofit work preferred
Skills and Abilities
 
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, iOS/Windows environments, video editing software, and social media platforms.
  • Fluent in English; effective verbal and written Spanish is a plus.
  • Demonstrates integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency, even under pressure.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining proactive, results-oriented, and skilled at planning, prioritizing, and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and convey warmth in all interactions.
  • Strong listener who can synthesize input from multiple sources into clear action items.
