Job Description: 


OneHope’s Product Development team designs products that engage children and youth around the world with Scripture. Within the PD team, the Product Development Project Manager manages all aspects of the development process for new ministry products, from conception through program validation. This includes facilitating design sessions, managing timelines and budgets, coordinating a team of contract writers, editors and graphic designers and working closely with international team members. The content of each product is extremely important to OneHope and ensuring that it is relevant and Biblically accurate is a major part of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of OneHope and faithfully upholds OneHope ministry in prayer
  • Works independently and with a team to coordinate the development of new products and programs (books, magazines, curriculum, apps, websites, short films)
  • Facilitates design process; speaking into the components of new ministry programs and products
  • Manages project timelines and budgets
  • Provides direction and oversees contractors including copywriters, translators, designers, typesetters, editors, theologians, web/app developers and others
  • Reviews and edits content throughout the entire development process
  • Works with Research department on product and program validation
  • Manages and maintains digital assets and archives as well as physical archives
  • Assists with administrative duties such as planning meetings, processing invoices, completing reports.
  • Cultivates relationships with OneHope’s donor partners

  • Experience working with UX/UI designers and developers preferred


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Background in education, design, writing, communications, children/youth ministry or theology preferred

Skills and Abilities:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro
A quick learner of computer software
Prior use or ability to master the use of MAC iOS
Proficiency with online tools (DropBox, Google Drive, Skype, Zoom, Cloud storage)
Highly organized and capable of setting deadlines and priorities
Self-directed and capable of creating processes for efficiency in workflow
Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required

Work week:

Monday – Friday during business hours. Typical hours will be 8:00am – 5:00 pm with some flexibility on the start and stop times. Our work is international, however, and some flexibility may be required at times in order to accommodate teams working in different time zones. Travel may be necessary at times.
